14 Disney & Marvel Movie Release Dates In 2019


This year, 2019, brings exciting new movie releases from Disney and Marvel. Get ready to head to the theatres for all these new releases. Also included on this list are Disney Channel Original Movies, since they are also not to be missed. Read, 14 Disney & Marvel Movie Release Dates In 2019.

1. Kim Possible (February 15, 8pm) – A Disney Channel Original Movie

Follow a new adventure as Kim Possible is turned into a live-action Disney Channel Original Movie, based on the popular animated series. Debuted date has been named as, February 15, 2019 at 8pm, check your local listing.

2. Captain Marvel (March 8) – Marvel

Watch Brie Larson as Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel. The movie gives insight to a previously non-highlighted aspect of Marvel.

3. Dumbo (March 29) – Live-Action Remake

Set for early 2019 is a live-action remake of Dumbo This film is by Tim Burton, with a darker style, watch the emotional trailer below. Cast includes: Danny DeVito, Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton and Eva Green.

4. Penguins (April 19) – Disneynature

Watch as penguins dive into the icy Atlantic and more in Disneynature’s upcoming filmed named, Penguins. Specifically, follow a penguin named Steve as he navigates life building a nest, finding a partner and starting a family. Plus, struggles of a penguin such as predators, killer whales and leopard seals. Opening nationwide by Earth Day 2019.

5. Avengers: Endgame (April 26) – Marvel

Watch the Avengers on the big screen once again, after the devastation in Avengers: Infinity War from 2018.

6. Artemis Fowl (August 19)

Follow along with Artemis Fowl II, who is a young Irish criminal mastermind, on a mischievous adventure.

7. Aladdin (May 24) – Live-Action Remake

Aladdin is getting its own live action remake, with Will Smith, playing the Genie in the remake.

8. Descendants 3 (Summer) – A Disney Channel Original Movie

Disney Descendants are back Summer 2019 for fans with Descendants 3. This Disney Channel Original Movie does not yet have an air date announced.

9. X-Men: Dark Phoenix (June 7)

Watch Jean Grey develop her powers, turning her into Dark Phoenix.

10. Toy Story 4 (June 21)

Watch the gang on the big screen once again, summer 2019. See the teaser trailer below!

11. Spider-Man: Far From Home (July 5) – Marvel

See Peter Parker battle evil once again, to save his friends, as he is on vacation in Europe.

12. The Lion King (July 19)

“Everything the light touches, is our Kingdom”…is the first words we hear in this teaser trailer. Watch the first look at the live action remake of The Lion King now:

13. Frozen 2 (November 22)

Frozen was released in 2013 and become an instant sensation. Fans were memorized by Anna’s majestic journey to save her sister, Elsa and the kingdom of Arendelle from eternal winter with help from Olaf, Kristoff and Sven. Fans have another chance to see their favorite characters on the big screen in the Frozen sequel. No need to “Let It Go” just yet!

14. Star Wars: Episode IX (December 20)

Star Wars: Episode IX will finish up the latest trilogy in Star Wars movies. It is produced by Lucasfilm & Bad Robot Productions, distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
